Legends to excite on Super Saturday

3 November 2023

A host of sporting stars and celebrities are set to light up Noosa at the traditional Legends Triathlon as a part of Super Saturday at the 40th anniversary Garmin Noosa Triathlon.

The Legends Triathlon brings a great mix of entertainment and close racing to Super Saturday with the teams out to have fun with a healthy dose of competition included.

Teams of three will take on a swim, a three lap ride and two lap run before finishing in the heart of the Super Saturday action on Noosa Parade.

This year’s Legends Triathlon includes the likes of Olympian gold medallists Susie O’Neill, Ken Wallace and Jessicah Schipper, Olympic bronze medallist Annette Edmonson, V8 Supercar Driver Will Davison and former Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath.

Also set to line up on Saturday are past and present AFL players Dan Rich, Scott Selwood, Jackson Thurlow and Shadeau Brain and 12-time IRONMAN New Zealand champion Cameron Brown.

The Legends Triathlon is a part of the Garmin Noosa Triathlon’s Super Saturday schedule which also includes the Australian Open Criterium men’s and women’s race and the ASICS Noosa Bolt.

All of the action from Super Saturday will be available to watch live and free through the Kayo Sports app and the Noosa Triathlon Facebook and Youtube pages from 2pm AEST.
