Entries Now Open for 2022 Noosa Tri

29 November 2021

Entries are now open for the 2022 Noosa Triathlon, with spots on the start line at the annually sold-out event expected to quickly fill up.

The 2022 event will be held between 26-30 October 2022, with entries for the Sunday Noosa Triathlon opening at 11am this morning.

Geoff Meyer, Managing Director of The IRONMAN Group Oceania, said that the team was looking forward to welcoming athletes back to the region next October.

“It was incredible to be back in action with the Noosa Triathlon last month after a year off in 2020,” said Meyer. “We were thrilled to see so many people out and about and taking part in this iconic Noosa event, with plans already underway for the 39th running of the Noosa Triathlon next year.

“Travel restrictions in 2021 meant that we had a large number of interstate and international athletes who were unable to make it to Noosa this year, with the majority of athletes choosing to defer their entry to the 2022 event,” he said. “As a result, we only have limited entries remaining for the 2022 Noosa Triathlon and I encourage anyone interested in taking part to jump onboard quickly to avoid missing out.”

The Noosa Triathlon will see athletes take on a 1.5km swim, 40km ride and 10km run, before finishing on the famous blue carpet on Noosa Parade.

The Noosa Triathlon has introduced two brand new and exclusive VIP packages for the 2022 event, providing athletes the opportunity to take their race week experience to a whole new level.

The Premium Mates Club is set to offer a super-smooth race day experience, with Premium Mates Club members receiving priority entry, premium bike racking and an early swim start. The Premium Mates Club is limited to 200 athletes and has proven to be incredibly popular, selling out yesterday.

New for 2022 is the Noosa Tri Beach Club, offering the thrill of racing amongst world-class athletes while enjoying a premium race weekend experience. Limited to just 200 athletes, the Noosa Tri Beach Club includes exclusive weekend access to the Beach Club Marquee with food and beverages, a personal concierge service, priority entry, premium bike racking, priority check-in and bike racking, early swim start and a special welcome gift and one festival event entry. Entries into the Noosa Tri Beach Club are $1,215 per person.

Entries for the Noosa Triathlon Festival Events will be opened in the coming months.

Noosa Triathlon is supported by the Queensland Government, through Tourism and Events Queensland, and is a feature on the It’s Live! in Queensland events calendar.
